According to CBS News and other sources, on August 2nd, 2014, Dwayne Johnson’s (a.k.a. The Rock) mother and cousin were injured in a serious car crash caused by a drunk driver in Clermont, Florida. According to reports, the police were on a chase with that driver who refused to pull over, ran two red lights and then rammed into the vehicle that Dwayne had given to his mother as a gift. Police have not identified the impaired driver but have filed the DUI along with some other charges.
