Scott Disick Refuses Rehab After Hospitalization For Alcohol Poisoning

 

Back in June Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. Shortly after this incident he was hospitalized for taking an entire bottle of pills. You think this would be a wakeup call, but Scott Disick refuses rehab.

From the beginning of the Kardashian’s show, which a lot of people see as a joke, Scott was viewed as the selfish, jerk boyfriend. Kourtney’s family urged her to get rid of him constantly. That was a consistent topic whenever Kourtney was on the air. Kourtney then went on to have 2 of Scott’s children. Maybe she was hoping he would grow up and kick his drinking habit, which was also mentioned every time he was onscreen. Now with a third child on the way, Scott has shown no signs of improvement. If anything, he has gotten worse.

Scott claims he suffers from depression and anxiety. Scott states, “You just keep suckering me into these kids,” he said. “I can’t handle this responsibility. I just can’t take care of more kids. I can barely take care of myself. I am hanging on by a string. I’ve hit rock bottom.” I, for one, feel sorry for the kids. The mere fact that Scott blames Kourtney for suckering him into having kids shows just how immature he really is. Last time I checked, it takes 2 to make a child. Scott and Kourtney are on their third child. If he didn’t want any children, he could have taken the necessary steps to ensure that wouldn’t happen.

As an addict, he is well versed in playing the victim. He manipulates his loved ones into feeling sorry for him. He then in turn gets what he wants. The family wants him to go to rehab. Every time he is confronted with this solution, he acts out, talking about his depression and anxiety. The family then feels sorry and backs off, allowing him to continue his reckless behavior. The fact that he stated he would stay sober till the birth of his next child is testament that he has zero coping skills. He should want to stay sober for life, not just till his child is born. Scott knows how to manipulate his family. He is offering false hope; by saying he will stay sober for a period of time. The family then feels hope that he can stay sober, which was not the case.

Kris Jenner, Kourtney’s mother has also gotten involved. She has picked out a rehab center in Arizona, but Scott Disick refuses rehab. Scott believes he can beat this on his own by competing an outpatient program. Judging from his behavior and coping skills this will not work. He needs inpatient treatment.
