Colorado Addiction Treatment Centers

There are many drug and alcohol rehab facilities in Colorado and many are excellent treatment centers. However, we have discovered that not only does reaching out across state borders help find you a more perfect fit, it also helps increase your chance of remaining sober once you are out of treatment. We deal with many different types of treatment programs to help fit your needs, such as 12 Step programs, Holistic programs, Christian-based programs, and more. Our drug and alcohol rehabilitation service can help you analyze your treatment center options and find treatment in Colorado or elsewhere.

Although the number of addiction treatment centers in Colorado is small, the number is increasing. Because of Amendment 20 which allows the use of marijuana for medical reasons and the increase in the penalties for possession of drugs, Colorado anticipates putting the money received from drug trafficking toward drug treatment and other rehab programs.

In Colorado, the statistics show that in 2005, there were approximately 348,000 people with a dependency on alcohol and another 126,000 who were suffering from drug addiction. Unfortunately, very few of the people involved in alcohol abuse did not receive treatment as is the case with those with an addiction to drugs.

Cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana are brought into Colorado from Mexico. Addiction to any of these drugs can be met with entrance into a drug rehab facility. A highly powerful form of marijuana called BC Bud is easily available. Rarely are any of these addictions overcome without some form of outside help.

Heroin is an opiate along with prescription drugs such as Oxycontin or Xanax and as such needs a medically staffed detox before entering into a drug rehabilitation center. Abuse of Oxycontin has become a significant problem in Colorado. Some addiction treatment centers have their own detox on the premises but most do not. Sober Solutions can coordinate your levels of treatment to make sure it is as safe and as effective as possible.
