Marijuana is most often smuggled into Texas from Mexico and distributed to Texans by Mexican drug organizations. In addition to independent dealers and different gangs, Caucasian, African American, Colombian, and Jamaican criminal groups are also responsible for much of the marijuana sold at the wholesale level throughout the state.
