Is it possible to finance drug rehab?
Many people often ask as to whether of not it is possible or an option to finance drug rehab. Financing rehab is an option, but with the current state of the economy, lenders are going to more cautious in their lending practices.
Although it was once very simple to enter into treatment as long as you had some form of insurance, today things are a bit more difficult. Insurance companies today are more reluctant to pay for private care treatment options. Which means that you, as the client, are ultimately going to be resposible for paying for treatment. The irony is that by the time most addicts or alcoholics are ready to recieve treatment, they are financially in crisis as well.
Financing Drug Rehab
Generally speaking, the treatment center itself will not provide the financing for drug rehab. However, there does exist outside financial lending institutions that do provide financing for substance abuse or medical treatment relating to addictions. In some cases the treatment center will work in conjuction with the lending institution. In most cases, however, the two are completely separate and you may need to contact the lending institution separately.
It is also important to understand that generally speaking a lending institution focused on lending for substance abuse treatment will almost never directly lend to the client (or substance abuser). This means that any financing is usually done in conjuction with a cosigner with a decent credit score.
Understanding all of this, we at Sober Solutions can help to refer you to various finance companies or agencies that can help you to afford private care treatment options. If this is not an option, we can also guide you into county subsidized or funded programs with little to no cost.
