However, there does exist outside financial lending institutions that do provide financing for substance abuse or medical treatment relating to addictions. In some cases the treatment center will work in conjuction with the lending institution. In most cases, however, the two are completely separate and you may need to contact the lending institution separately.

It is also important to understand that generally speaking a lending institution focused on lending for substance abuse treatment will almost never directly lend to the client (or substance abuser). This means that any financing is usually done in conjuction with a cosigner with a decent credit score.
